A company or a building pays premium on their insurance company so that it will be ensured when a fire occurs. To distinguish a building that has insurance, a firemark is placed on it that when a building is on fire, several fire brigades will attend. However, the only fire brigade who will stop the fire is the one that has its firemark on the building. If the building has no firemark, it will be left until it comes into ashes.
Today, there is a fire unit on most parts of UK’s vicinities and its service is for everybody. The United Kingdom has one of the fast growing industries. Because of this situation, more buildings are established; more families are getting their own houses and more communities are developed. In line with this progress, Fire Services are making sure that the UK’s progress is secured from the devastation that a fire brings.

All these services are done for the sake of reducing arson, fires and lost lives.

The largest fire brigade in the UK is the London Fire Brigade and their mission is to make London a safer city for Londoners and its visitors.
